I also think I'll pass on the club access - a bit rich for the blood, and not sure I'll get the full value despite being quite capable around champagne... although I do hope to be able to order their signature aged Negroni, as it is my preferred cocktail.

I’ve stayed in Regent HK for 4 times already. If it’s your first, I suggest you to take a harbour view room because the view is really spectacular. you can email the hotel to confirm if the upgrade is highly likely if you are a platinum. Upgrades can only happen during low peak period.
As for club, honestly, I feel it’s overrated for me. The food is not over the top and I feel is too westernized ( lacks the local HK dishes feel). I’m not a drinker so maybe I feel the club is overrated. With the top up, you can get much better food outside- try all the HK food! However, I’m a fan of their main restaurant breakfast- I find the quality is above average and they have dim sum items which is actually quite good.
