This year I had way too many travel related to work and I have earned 75.000 miles: just 5K shy for Elite Plus (I normally earn around 40K). I doubt that I will have this amount of traveling in the future.

Is it worth to pay 350 USD to become Elite Plus and probably renew it for at least 3-4 years? Or will it be a waste of money?
Is there a cheaper way to earn 5000 miles in 10 days?


I read a lot of people unhappy with the program... but I guess it is difficult read people happy with any program.
