Called BA customer service they said its booked with 3rd party so they can't make any changes
For now the ticket is under the control of the travel agent.
You need to discuss with them
'Some reason', not sure it they shared more but its likely down to cost. You may want to discuss with travel agent /your company if they would change it if you paid the fare difference and change fees.
This will, ultimate, all be a result of your company travel policy.
