Upgrading with avios gets you a seat in the higher cabin on the plane. But you are still travelling on your original ticket and fare basis. So unless you have appropriate FF status, you get lounge access according to the cash fare you originally paid. You will also earn qpoints and avios based on that original fare. Same with your checked baggage allowance.
