I booked a flight for Thanksgiving 2025 with my miles yesterday evening and had to try a few times prior to the transaction processing. The app kept displaying an error message.
Not the first time I’ve experienced such an issue. A couple weeks ago I bit on a good upgrade offer to PS for a TATL daytime flight and I had to try that transaction multiple times. My Amex transaction list shows NEW MERCHANT instead of DELTA AIR LINES for that transaction, ugh. Have to be sure the bonus miles post correctly.
Suggest trying again … and again, or calling in (wait times may be obnoxious with the southeast snow storm) if the mileage price is good.
