This is exactly what I was thinking about doing - e.g.
* BA Holiday: MAN-LHR-OTP // 5 day car hire // OTP-LHR-MAN (go out one weekend, back the next weekend)
* Separate ticket in the middle of the BA Holiday: OTP-LHR on the Sunday // work all week in London // LHR-OTP on Friday
* 640 TPs
However I’m not sure whether OTP is the best/easiest short haul plus destination to do this at (eg convenient airport car park and airport hotel). Never been to OTP before, or done this sort of TP run.
Do people recommend OTP, or is there a better choice??
