Horrible experience at the LAX AF lounge last night. Met all of the criteria for entry - SkyTeam Elite Plus on an international arrival in first class with an onward connection on a SkyTeam carrier. Representative immediately tried to shoo me away to another lounge. Then she said they'd be closing in 15 minutes - while the AF website claimed the lounge would be open for a few more hours. I finally scanned my boarding pass after much back and forth and was allowed in. Then she came and found me and informed me that they were closing in two minutes while another couple seated at the bar had just begun to eat a meal. Had enough time for a fine crepe.
