My flights are 90% international D1 only, and 10% domestic FC. Was thinking this would be the year I break through DM but looks like I missed it, unless the invites are coming in waves, which I doubt.
Being out of ATL, I will obviously still fly delta for convenience of non-stop internationals pretty much everywhere. But I wont chase 360 and will start trying other airlines for potential better business/first class cabin experiences after making diamond. Especially if the route is only flying 767-300's......
This is what you should do. I could have had ~120K in flight spend with Delta in 2024 based in ATL but funneled it elsewhere including Qatar because I'm not chasing the ghost that is 360 for limited other benefits than better IRROPS handling when flights are already overbooked and so limited availability that finding alternative ways home on other airlines is better anyways.
Also Qatar business is worlds better than Delta One and I highly recommend it over Delta/AF/VS/KL for any Asia/Africa travel.
