Hello Alaska folks, as my username says it, I am still loving oneworld, but not so much the British Airways program anymore after the recent changes announced;(
Living in Europe, AS MP would be a perfect replacement, if I only could figure out, whether the qualifying has changed, when it comes to flights OPERATED by AS?
I saw a change of this back in 2024 if I am not wrong, having registered for MP now I can only see the next steps, but not AS operated flights (yet?), as I would with British e.g.
I can not find any details in the terms&conditions, all I found is the "nerdwallet" guide to status with AS but I am not sure this is recent information:
"Qualification via eligible miles or segments must include this minimum number of flights marketed and operated by Alaska Airlines"
Can someone point me to official information of AS or give me relief by telling me that it doesn't need any AS marketed AND operated flights to reach MVP gold, which would be my new years resolution?
