One thing I noticed is that when applying for retro-credit on the website, the attachment fields ask for both the ticket and boarding pass. I'm not certain if both are mandatory, I haven't tried yet; it's been only seven (nervous) workdays of waiting so far, maybe I'll retro-claim early next week.

Just wondering if having a BAEC number in the ticket and an MHE number in the boarding pass (changed just before boarding and sent to my phone) is bound to lead to questions. Shouldn't, but given the abundance of "I'm human, honestly" checks and inability to enter postal address without calling, maybe also retro-claim has some inbuilt hurdles about why the FFP numbers differ?
