I'm finishing a 3 night stay, going to Hua Hin, and returning to Bangkok for another week. I had planned on returning to this hotel but cancelled my reservation. My room is ok although I did not get upgraded as a Titanium. I have no complaints about the service with one exception. Dinner on the first night was a disaster. It took 30 minutes for my drink order to arrive and my Old Fashioned was the worst I ever had. The food took at least another 30 minutes. Also, I didn't like the happy hour apps.
Breakfast a la carte is decent but a buffet is more in keeping with the SE Asian vibe for me. Hopefully the Athenee will not disappoint. I would like to find a Marriott that I can stick with after trying a bunch.
