Unexpectedly found myself in main this morning (had cleared and confirmed an RUC on SFO-JFK-BOS, when DL decided to cancel SFO-JFK and put me on the nonstop to BOS in Y, and none of the agents was willing to reroute me in F with a connection - even though the ticket was reissued showing OX/OL) and didn't have time to grab something in the terminal, so ended up purchasing the only fresh item on the menu (the chicken salad croissant), presented in all its glory:

Now my expectations were low and the presentation certainly didn't help, but honestly this was pretty good - the arugula in the sandwich was fairly crisp/fresh and the jam helped mix the flavors up a bit (or maybe I was just hungry). The sliced apple was also good (crisp and not soft/soggy, and the red slices were pretty sweet and not flavorless), and chocolate was a Ghirardelli 72% Cacao square. Wish DL would provide more options (including hot food) which all the other airlines seem to be able to do, but would buy this again if I found myself stuck without food on a transcon
