Would be great to hear your updates when you make your return visit or from any one else visiting. We currently have two rooms booked at the end of February, I have Diamond status and our friends are Gold, interested what the breakfast benefit is, is it an up charge for full buffet or is it free and the only option, did they indeed remove mimosas from the full buffet? Are they offering discounts to Diamonds on Spa and/or Cabana booking? Most importantly what is the current impact of the construction, it seems people either don’t care or it’s very intrusive, in addition to the potential construction noise, is the place surrounded by boarded up walkways? I’ve seen a few video postings from Dec and it seems that much of the outdoor area is boarded up and it did not look very relaxing, given the high cost of the room charge.
Any updates/insights are greatly appreciated, we are very tempted to cancel and book elsewhere. We have backup reservations at the new Iberostar and at the Renaissance for the same period. We’ve loved going to the Hilton in the past, but given rising rates, reduction of inclusions like mimosas at breakfast, and having to stay in an active construction site that says it can occur everyday from early in the morning until evening, we likely will cancel, but hoping to get some more feedback before making that final decision.
Thanks in advance!
