AA certainly prioritizes AA metal (over codeshare flights and other OW flights) for CK selection. However, I would think that the transatlantic BA flights could be the exception to the rule since AA/BA revenue share and coordinate schedules.
I get revenue sharing, but the issue is that AA does not fly where I need to go, so there's usually some element of BA on my transatlantic trips, I just don't know how much that negatively affects things.
