My understanding is that my 400 TP flight returning April 22 will be credited as if nothing has changed, not on the revenue method being imposed. Flight out is late March if that helps anything but I'll be in my new tier year by then. It's on Cathay as well.

Am I correct?
if you booked a trip before December 30 for travel after April 1st, you'll still earn according to the old tier points (in your case 400) and they will be multiplied by 13.33, so you'll get 5332 New Tier Points (1/4 towards Gold, like in the old system).
