The fair thing to do here would be to exclude Delta and Aerolineas Argentina FFP members from domestic lounge access too. But I doubt that will happen. I doubt there are too many domestic STE+ passengers, compared to the FFPs own, but I can't see how this will improve the general crowding situation.
The new guest policy though, is probably going to reduce some. The only thing I don't like about it is that very rarely I would have friends/family who are not frequent flyers, go in to the AFKL lounges with me, when they'd be on a slightly different route than me. It's never really happened that I've brought guests into non-AFKL lounges when not on the same flight as me, so as long as AFKL let me bring my guest in the 2-3 times a year it happens, the policy seems to overall be nicer by allowing more lounge access.
