Rest assured, your booking details will remain unchanged, and a new confirmation number will be issued to you. There will be no disruption to your plans, and we are here to ensure a seamless transition.

Here’s what you can expect:

- Your current reservation will be cancelled.

- A new reservation will be created automatically and you will receive a new confirmation number via e-mail shortly after the cancellation.

Poor way to handle this.....they could have simply let all existing reservations stand, and just manually honor the luxury collection brand benefits.

This now means:

1.
Ayone who has booked through a cashback website affiliate link will lose their cashback when their old reservation is cancelled.

2.
Anyone has booked a pre-paid rate and had payment already taken on their card, need to be careful they aren't charged twice, and that the new reservation has the same bed type, same number of guests, and same exact rates.

3.
Anyone who booked a flexible rate needs to make sure the new booking has the same cancellation conditions, same number of guests, same bed type and same exact rates.

4.
Not sure how this will affect people who used upgrade certificates...maybe it will be returned and needs to be used again ???
