Here's where this became a problem for us. Last year me, Mrs. WT4F, and one of the three kids all had status that earns a free upgrade to premium. For the couple times where all five of us were on an single reservation, nobody got free upgrades. Sure it's an outlier situation, but it would sure be nice to not lose a benefit all because we're over the two person per PNR limit. But it's definitely not worth splitting up everybody onto separate reservations, especially in times of IRROPS. The last time we did that, two of the teens were rerouted through DFW while the rest of us were routed through ORD, on an international return flight.
