Does anyone know if it is possible to book award flights for domestic travel within USA using JAL miles on either AA or AS?
I am currently going onto JAL website -> International -> JMB partner airlines -> Choosing American Airlines and then keying the dates I want to book the award tickets.
The search function works and shows the available flights and itineraries with number of seats available, but when I reach the final step there is an error (see screenshot). I have never successfully booked American domestic flights using JAL miles, I'm not sure if this is just not possible?

I would be grateful if anyone has any experience on this. Thanks!
