This hotel has always played games with availability for the Dec - Feb ski season, much like the other Japanese Hyatts. This hotel is unique in the fact that even if you just search for cash availability for the Dec 2025 - Feb 2026, you won't find any rooms available, even for cash. That is how you know they haven't released availability yet, not just that the award availability has already been booked up. Best I can tell from previous information online is that they release the Dec - Feb ski season all at once at some random time. Based on historical trends, it will be any day now. There has historically been a minimum night requirement for award bookings. Best I can tell, for previous peak ski seasons it was 5 nights. For the 2025 close in peak season they lowered it to 3 nights to incentivize room sales.
