Thanks for following up. I also noticed that on Jan 11. I don't know if I checked late or not but by the time I checked, all the flights for tpe to lax were gone. But checked the following days and they did show up around Taipei time morning. I did tell a friend about this last week and he said they block it until Jan 11. And it turns out he was right. He said that Jan 1-11 is a very popular time so Eva blocks it and hopes people buy the ticket for extra revenue. I have been tracking it for a few days and the seats are basically gone within a few hours. I bet people were waiting for them to open up. The opposite route doesn't seem as popular. There's still a good about l amount of award space.
