The person who had this issue and unfortunately neither Amex nor the Westin was able to change anything to honor the 6x. Hopefully it works for you, please update! This was a friend who went in October. We ended up using CSR.
Does anyone have recent information whether using Marriott branded credit cards (for example Ritz), will result in proper Bonvoy points earning (6x)?
