It slightly beggars belief that when BA want £40k/ £65k to renew/acquire that status from April that a space couldn’t be found for them in their home airlines’ lounge, flying on a Oneworld carrier (not to mention a sister airline)….
Well said. When BA raise the bar to entry that high, expectations should be set accordingly.
This is actually one of the things that has put me off the new "BAC" the most - the arrogance to imply that the current experience is commensurate with spending £50-75k a year. It simply isn't and we all know perfectly well things aren't going to improve just because the thresholds increase.
