As you can see from the posts above, the pax doing the JFK-LAX return was probably in the middle of a SFO-JFK-LAX-SFO MR.
Interesting to note that the $137 fare offered back in Aug to JFK is cheaper than many SFO-LAX fares!
Was on one of those MR's back in Nov, and I was almost looking forward to hearing SFO during the gate connection announcement.
