Sharing my booking experience using GHA Discovery App and the status recognition benefits on a recent stay. Not every time things go wrong and this time my experience was above expectations.
Booked a one night at Marsa Malaz Kempinski Hotel in Doha.
Reservation done in GHA Discovery App. Very easy and straightforward l. The option to redeem D$ or credit it back was fairly clear.
At check-in the status membership was recognized and I was upgraded with late check-out offered without asking or mentioning it. Also the front desk manager came to welcome me and thanked for being a loyal member of Discovery. The welcome amenity was a nice and huge fruit bowl plus some sweets and 4 bottles of water, together with a welcome note thanking for being a loyal Discovery member. Well done. I was pleasantly surprised with the way I was treated and, in general, I had a superb stay.
I have another 4 stays coming in different cities and countries. Let's see how it goes.
