To me rollover means that something you have in excess can be moved to the next year. So if you have 85k EQM and select this benefit, would you move 10k EQM from the current year to the next, i.e., you are (after selection) at 75k and have 10k for the next year?
(and what happens if you then earn another 10k and get back to 85k? Doesn’t seem to make sense)
Pretty sure you get to keep your 85k miles in the current year and you get 10k deposited as a starting point for next year. That's how it works on other programs that rollover like Hilton Honors.
