ANU - LGW from the 18th January. Same menu as the post above, I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. Will post pictures as I had a the fish starter and cheese, agree the curry was nice. Sadly our crew took over 2 hours to serve it, meaning we had less than 4 hours before landing preparations started due to the strong winds mentioned above.
I’m not sure if the breakfast service happened at all, I did manage to get a cup of tea before landing.
I'm usually complimentary of LGW Mainline crews but our last couple of inbound flights have been the same.
VERY relaxed approach to starting service with lots of galley chatter well after take off, despite us all being told before departure that it would be a quick flight.
Lights off for a few hours before breakfast service starting. Reminds me of a certain Come Fly With Me sketch.
