I'm AA Executive Platinum and have an upcoming trip on Hawaiian (SFO-OGG round trip for 25k points total!). Would I be able to status match from AA EP to Alaska MVP Gold 75K and then to Hawaiian Pualani Platinum? I have no upcoming flights on Alaska and don't expect to meet any challenge, but want to get the Hawaiian benefits (plus I already get a lot on Alaska from being EP).

If I would be able to do this, any idea how long it would take to go through and if my Hawaiian status would be for 90 days as well or until the end of the year?
