Just finished a 1 night stay and have to say our most disappointing stay of our 10 or so previous stays. Taking in-laws on a stay for their 50th anniversary and booked 2 rooms on points. Assigned a lake view king corner room (for both rooms), which is my favorite room category there.

Rooms weren't ready at check in (2:30ish) but one was ready about 20 minutes later and the other another 20 minutes after that. Check-in interactions were a bit stilted and agent hardly acknowledged Globalist status, which isn't a big deal. Both rooms were on the 4th floor with a great lake view. Unfortunately, our room was directly over the event space on the 3rd floor, which was hosting a wedding. For about 2.5 hours the music was blaring with lots of bass that we heard (and felt) in our room. Walked down the hall and you could hear it on half the floor. Not my idea of an "upgrade". Thankfully the music turned off about 9:45 so we could sleep. Lesson learned for future stays.

Breakfast at Waters Table was very good. Welcome letter had said just one entree and one non-alcoholic beverage included for breakfast. I had charged all four breakfasts to our room, and curious to see if all four would be taken off. Had a $69 charge show on the app, which is fair and reflects the normal breakfast benefit for 2 adults.

At check out, the agent proactively removed the $69 charge from my folio and acknowledged she did that. Very generous and it had disappeared on my folio in the app as well. However, I just received the folio via email for the room and the charge was added back on, which seems pretty poor form. As an aside, valet charge was removed morning of checkout, so no issues there.

We have another stay in a few weeks, so hopefully this is a one off as our other stays have always been pleasant. Most importantly, my inlaws loved their room and breakfast and had a wonderful time, so that's the most important thing.
