Any suggestions for places on the main island that have good English-speaking ski school? I only know of Akakura/Myoko that has an Aussie-run one.

Finished 5 days in Hirafu/Niseko last week and while the ski'ing was great I'm thinking of a less commercialised (read: cheaper) place to go next. My 5-year old picked up pretty well but I'm at the limit of what I can teach him. He has some behavioural issues in group settings so group ski school didn't work out so well, thinking of getting a private instructor for him & my wife for a couple days but the ones at Niseko cost like 100k a day.
