My daughter and her friend are planning to visit China (her friend's parents are Chinese and live in China) over Easter. The flights from Heathrow to CGK connect, and they plan to stay just under 10 days. What I am unsure of is what is appropriate here, a 240 hour TWOV, although their flight would be From LHR into China and back to LHR.
Or should they just get a regular tourist visa.
They are University Students, so would prefer not to spend the £60 to £70 on a visa if it is not necessary. My daugthers friend is Chinese, with a British Passport and can speak Chinese well.
What advice should I give them ?
