Silver membership renewed on 09.12.2024
1. We completed a double tiers package in WTP to PLS on the 06.12.2024, we should have earned 360 TPs, which would have taken my account to 1500 tiers.
2. I understand the period of time it takes to award tiers for a double tiers package bookings.
3. I contacted BAEC on the 06.12. to advise them of the membership renewal and that this will affect the transition. BAEC agent advised me, that normal tiers are awarded automatically, double tiers manually. But for the first time ever, wrong tiers were awarded “automatically” for this booking “after” the membership renewal on the 09.12.2024, interestingly enough.
4.Membership renewed with the wrong tier points since the 09.12.202 to Silver, then the wrong amount of tiers was awarded to the new membership year. After several phone calls, emails sent to
[email protected], stating clearly all completed bookings, even stating the tiers and Avios, and a case reference, raised by “BAEC”, call centre cannot do anything, rude Indian call centre by the way on several occasions, case was “escalated”. I as of today have not received an updated status to Gold and no response from BAEC since the 17.12.2024.
I would appreciate any advice!
