Anyone know if I call can I book business + economy on the same flight?

would like my daughter and spouse to join me on a trip, using companion benefit to upgrade one and paying for the other, but given this will be a minor I don’t want to split their ticket.

buying both and upgrading one right after via cash is an option but in my experience it’s more $ than booking the seat outright.
