Interesting to see the future runway layout at NRT. B and C are 2 miles apart but nearly aligned along the same line.
Seems they designed it this way so that there's enough clearance for one to handle departures while the other handles arrivals with occasional go-arounds. Below diagram shows the missed approach path from B while planes are taking off to the southeast from C, but this could be flipped around with arrivals from the southeast on C and departures to the northwest from B.
Also note they are supposed to build a new terminal complex in the middle of the three runways.
