Reviving a 14-year old thread to ask a renewed question: leaving Princeton at 4:30 pm on a Thursday with a family of five (experienced travelers all with TSAPre), are we risking it to book an American flight out of EWR at 7:30? I think we could get to EWR train station by 6:15 using the dinky and the NEC NJ Transit train, but I've never flown AA out of Newark and don't know the terminal layout (only flown Delta & United out of the new A, and Spirit out of the renewed B). Alternatives are a Spirit flight at 9:15, or go south to PHL and take a 9:15 AA. No rental car; would take a Uber or schedule a car service (Princeton shuttle to EWR on State Shuttle quoted $117, which is reasonable but I am leery of traffic). Thanks for any advice.
