Starting later in 2025, we’ll prioritize upgrades based on your recent activity and long-term loyalty—not what you paid for your ticket.
Once on the waitlist, upgrades will be processed in the following order:
- Elite status level
- Million Miler milestone
- Corporate travelers*
- Elite-qualifying miles (EQMs) earned in 2024 and 2025
- Date and time of booking
So your assertion.....
Even under the newer order which takes effect later this year recent activity would take precedence over MM.
...is incorrect.
Are you a 100K? Yes
Are you a MM? Yes
Are you a corporate traveler? Irrelevant if you are 100K.
Do you have more activity than any other 100K MMs?Yes
You are #1 on the waitlist.
For complimentary upgrades on ineligible fares, the MM milestone has
hierarchical priority over all other 100Ks. Fare class is irrelavent.
