One of the very telling things for me, and why I'll be making zero effort to maintain Gold under the new system, is that despite the backlash, and obvious concerns around the new system - and I mean genuine concerns about tickets purchased pre Dec 30th, or the bonus TP, etc - BA have not even attempted to better explain the new system to us, or assuage concerns about existing bookings etc.

The entire thing reeks of push out the changes between two major holidays and pretend that it didn't happen. More importantly it reeks of contempt.

I will still have to use BA for semi regular travel between GLA and London, but I am directing long haul through SkyTeam no​​​w. VS going west and AFKL going east or inter Europe.
