PS. Having been to Bali many times, sightseeing is not one of my goals on this trip; but easu availability of Grab taxis is important.
They're both in Kuta, leagues from the beach. Nice pools for the price point but both can get very crowded with the outlet mall shopping tour groups from other parts of Indonesia. Breakfast at Ff Kuta Sunset is rather spartan and beef rasher only, so if choices of breakfast proteins is important, keep that in mind -- not sure about Legian, I didn't partake, but they generally seem more attuned to foreign tourist's typical asks, including a comp shuttle to Double Six Beach. No issues with Grab at either, except do make sure you put the right hotel name in when coming back as it's very easy to type in "Fairfield by Marriott Bali South Kuta." Never received a meaningful upgrade at any of those Ffs (never asked) but always get smiling service, 4pm checkout and some extras, including breakfast which isn't brand standard.
