I buy that they’re implementing Amazon Connect and that they’ll make better use of the IVR and pre-authenticate customers before putting on with an agent. BA is decades behind on this front.
I don’t believe the “blocking users based on residency” will ever happen - having the capability does not equal them using it and it would be a disaster.
