if you need to prove you’re a US-based member, via some call routing/validation system, before you even get to speak to an agent what are non-US-based travellers supposed to do then they experience IRROPS whilst in the US? Wait for the UK call center to open?

Apparently BA are installing an Amazon based system to determine your home location based on the membership number.
