Morning all,

I've been trawling through the responses looking for the answer to my question without success - please could someone direct me to the right place if this has already been answered.

The website clearly states that for flights booked before December 30th (for travel in April onwards) the new tier points will be calculated by multiplying the original tier point award by 13.3333 to get the new tier point figure. I've been told by the BA Gold helpdesk that from April 1st, flights with Aer Lingus will be calculated at either 25% or 50% of the cost spent, depending on booking class. However, the wording on the BA website says flights marketed by BA, IB or AA that were booked before December 30th, will use the 13.3333 calculation. Does that mean that my flight from DUB-JFK-LAX, booked with American Airlines, and where the carrier from DUB to JFK is EI, will have 140 tier points x 13.3333, or will that sector will be 25/50% of the cost flown? I asked the Gold helpdesk and they couldn't answer the question.

Thanks, David.
