I am in the same boat. Spending loads in what I like, travelling, which represents a large part of my yearly income, perhaps even above the 30%. Notwithstanding this, totally disgusted in the way BA has treated me. Could I still try to get Gold with BA? Of course. Will I do it? Absolutely not.
