The "Find my reservation" function on the app, however, did work and allowed the reservations to be 'reattached' to the account.

Looks very much like a non-user-specific issue that's affected all reservations at this hotel that were made in a particular time-frame.
You may want to periodically check the reservations because mine (made between Dec 18th and 19th) disappeared again - after adding them back 2 times already!

New reservations made before 12am Jan 18th, after initially showed up in My Trip fine, all disappeared when I looked at My Trip a couple hours later, they were no longer in My Trip. The one made at 12:21am was still there.
I added them all back - but now disappear AGAIN including the 4th one made at 12:21am !

When you checked in, was your BonVoy number on the folio? Were you saying that after check in, the stay did not even show up in the App? Did your stay and points posted without issue?

The Modify Reservation link in the confirmation email was able to pull up the reservation. Website gave an error. I did not try the App on the first disappearing act.

The newly made reservations initially showed up fine, but now ALL disappear again. At first the 3 that I added back and the 4th booked at 12:21 am was there, now also gone!

Added them back thru the App. Would check how long they would stay in My Trip. It seems to me certain version of the Marriott booking system that some hotels used, automatically wiped out the BonVoy number in the booking. When I first called reservation to inquire, the phone agent insisted I booked the stays outside my account... Why would any BonVoy elite make reservation without logging in first? Such an idiotic comment made me speechless.

Oh, almost forget to add - each time you add back the reservation you receive a confirmation email! This is ridiculous.
