Airport train sounded to me like the airport metro line.
Yes, there is the skytrain on upper levels and an inter-terminal shuttle bus on ground level, same as arrivals. Not sure where/what level the lockers are in T1. When you leave customs there will be a large information desk, you can ask them whether shuttle bus or skytrain is more convenient for you to go to the lockers in T1.
