Or do I need to check-in physically at the gate outside security since passports are involved? If I booked all with one PNR I would skip this? It looks like I may need to rebook a LH 6AM flight from KRK to MUC to safely make the 12:20P TATL flight. Again, thanks for this information as I have not been to Europe in a long time.
Absolutely LH will check your bag all the way through to IAH, presume you are connecting to UA160 ?
LH have a specific field in their check in system for through checking to *A partners & i have done this numerous times on different connections.
90 minutes is plenty of time for your connection, MUC is a very easy airport for International connections. However as others have noted if something goes with your KRK-MUC flight, you would need a plan B on separate tickets.
