I spent on my Nov and Dec statement. No EQM yet. I did status match to AS in Dec 26th so I do have elite status on HA, from my AS 100k.
I am AS 75k now w/ 81k EQM for 2024. I want the 20k to post to bump me up.
So that's at least two of us in the same boat. Just to make sure they know about this I reached out to both airlines since it's not clear where the problem lies.
HA promised to get back to me in no more than 72 hours. That was two weeks ago and I haven't heard from them. So I opened a chat and the agent said they'd "be sending a direct email to our support to fix the issue on your account." Meanwhile over at AS the agent asked me to email a copy of my HA statement. When I hadn't heard back in almost two weeks I sent a followup email requesting they at least confirm receipt of the information they asked for. So far no response.
Given all the other things that Alaska has going on, on top with the unfortunate decision of HA not to post EQMs earned via spend but handle those separately, combined with what I imagine are a small number of flyers waiting for elite status to upgrade based on spend with the HA card, the problem of HA spend EQMs not crediting, even if Alaska is aware of it (which is no sure thing) is an extremely low priority for them.
The good news as I see it is that at some point that will change. AS said that all EQMs from both HA and AS would count towards 2025 status and waiting months for that to happen isn't what AS promised.
