This is what I'm banking on. I figure chances are better than 50% that OZ members will get a relatively good deal.
For me, if I get a decent status match with lounge access and if my progress towards lifetime status gets carried over, I'll probably switch to Sky Team. For flights in Europe, it's a bit of a downgrade vs *A and I will miss the opportunity to fly SQ from FRA to JFK or within Asia, but there are also upsides like for US flights.
