My friends and I (three women traveling together) are planning a trip to Morocco and would love your help finding a reliable driver for a private tour. We’ll be in the country for approximately six nights and are looking for recommendations for:
  • A trustworthy driver or company that’s great for small groups
  • A route starting and ending in Marrakesh
  • An excursion into the desert (ideally including an overnight stay in a desert camp)
  • Stops at iconic spots like the Atlas Mountains, Ait Benhaddou, or other hidden gems
We’d also appreciate tips on:
  • Pricing and what’s reasonable to expect
  • Safety considerations for three women traveling
  • Any must-see sights or unique experiences along the way
Thanks so much for any advice or recommendations you can share! 😊

I went with them on a ski trip two years ago, handled everything once got to Marrakesh for those in group who went directly there from home. My first time to Morocco so went early to see more places than the Atlas mountains, picked me up in Casa then drove to Fes for a 4 nights incl day trip to Volubilis. While they don't specialize in city tours that far East and there are strict rules around city vs mountain guide (I had one of their mountain guides with me the whole time who I got along with fantastically and driver until joined the group in Marrakesh), they arranged for city guides in Fes and Volubilis and my mountain guide was there to maybe learn a few things he didn't know. 5 days before joining group was $2500 for everything but lunch/dinner, breakfast was included in the lodging. Price for 3 people probably wouldn't be 3x that. They do have city guides in Marrakesh.
As they are culturally focused they have all kinds of options to do, in Fes I had a 4hr rug making lesson and I liked it so much I went back the next day to finish, it is smaller than a place mat
We went to many different areas in the Atlas mountains to ski and met lovely locals. After we got back to Marrakesh for one last night, a group of 3 women stayed longer and two of their partners joined and they went off to the desert with ACA. Not sure how much it cost but they said it was awesome.
Morocco has done a lot to ensure tourists feel safe, there are enough uniformed and undercover cops around that my mountain guide would not accompany me into the souks without our city guide in case he gets stopped and fined or worse.
