So here’s the latest update-

Someone with the tile “executive solution manager” (which I believe is a BS title anyway) Reached out to me for more details. Apparently he sent my feedback to TK for reimbursement and this the response I have received from TK

“Thank you for your message dated 16th of January 2025. We received your message from our Star Alliance partner, United Airlines.

Referring to your feedback, we have made a detailed investigation and corresponded with the related units. Accordingly, it has been learned that you applied to the check-in counter with two bags for the flight and before the check-in process started, you had been informed about the seat number and your baggage allowance for the mentioned flight. After the first baggage was checked, your other baggage was processed.. Since you could not take the formerly checked baggage, you were informed about excess baggage payment procedues.

This was carried out in accordance with our excess baggage procedure, and no inapproriate staff behavior was detected. Therefore, unfortunately we’re unable to fulfill your request.

You can also view your baggage allowance on the manage booking page, or on the confirmation e-mail sent to you after ticketing.

I don’t even know how to process this. They are flat out lying now. Apparently I checked in an extra bag weighed 86kg after my first free bag was checked in.

This is an outrageous lie. Any advice is highly appreciated on how to proceed now.
