Exactly!
And I roll my eyes at all the YouTubers when they do there little videos on whichever plane interior launch / refresh that they’re invited to.

They sit for no more than 30 seconds in the economy seat. Bolt upright, head back against the headrest, spine aligned with the seat back - and pronounce “very comfortable, lots of knee room…”

No-one actually sits like that for a 2.5hr flight. You scooch forward, until your knees hit the seat in front, to try and relax your back. In turn, putting more pressure onto your coccyx from the minimally padded seat cushion.

I find the initial climb-out to altitude is the most comfortable part of the flight, due to the weight / gravity being applied further up the spine.
For me, the whole seat should be canted / rotated about 15 degrees ‘backwards’ to improve comfort.

I often notice on short-haul flights that if there’s a coach transfer from the airport, it’s more comfortable than the flight - so it can be done on ‘public’ transport!
